Carola Höhn worked at a clothing shop before she moved to Berlin where she took acting lessons. As early as 1929 she obtained a contract with UFA after she sent them some photographs. Her big break as a movie actress came with "Ferien vom Ich" in 1934 and she appeared in 30 movies until the end of the war, mostly playing intelligent young women.
